This workshop is a guide to the d&b Remote network. Beside all the functions inside a d&b amplifier to enable integration into all kinds of reinforcement systems, participants will learn what to consider to make up a useful remote network. Light will be shone on all aspects of a network design, starting at the hardware and ending at the individual user interface.
Participants should be experienced with the d&b sound system set up and management. The knowledge of Windows based computers and their usage is advantageous. Please bring your own laptop running WinXP (or higher) or Mac OS 10.x.
The participants should be able to set up a d&b Remote network with a meaningful user interface.

d&b Remote network topologyNecessary hardware to set up a remote network. Description of the various network topologies and cable options.
d&b Remote network softwareInstalling and preparing the d&b R1 remote control software program on a personal computer. Practical session in programming a user interface with the R1 software.
The workshop or seminar content is conveyed in a format that encourages the participants to play an active role, for example exchanging experiences or using practical examples.
